If you are a bride who wants an editorial flair in your wedding photos, this bridal session in Cefalù, Italy, is the perfect source of inspiration. Something I love to combine in my work is romance and editorial. You can still have photos that are full of emotion and meaning while achieving a more curated, intentional look. Keep reading to see how this stunning shoot turned out!
I traveled to Cefalù in Sicily, Italy, to an incredible spot by the water, surrounded by huge rocks that were perfect for the type of shoot we were doing. The scenery was gorgeous. It was morning, and the rocks overlooked the ocean, which was crystal clear and such a stunning shade of blue.
We kept the decor minimal, but it was perfect. A few floral arrangements and, of course, lemons added the perfect pop of color to the photos. The couple dressed in light colors, with the groom in a beige suit and the bride in a stunning layered silk and chiffon dress. It was so flowy and allowed for so much movement throughout the session.
I especially loved the photos of her holding the lemon. I love when I can get couples to interact with the environment around them because it makes the photos feel even more intentional and adds another layer to the story we’re telling.
