Ashley and David had the most beautiful luxury wedding at Legacy Castle in New Jersey. The two of them met back in college, quickly fell in love, and the rest is history. Their love for each other is so big that they wanted to have a grand wedding surrounded by their friends and family to celebrate. Keep reading to see more of their day!

Getting Ready

Ashley and David both got ready at the venue surrounded by their closest friends and family. They had huge bridal parties, which made the morning so much fun. There was truly double the love in the air. Every inch of this venue was stunning, and both the girls and guys were having the best time together. I loved documenting all of the small details, and there were a ton of them.

Getting ready is always one of my favorite parts of the day to capture. There are usually happy tears, quiet moments, and so much love in the room that it’s impossible not to get emotional myself. Everyone was so sweet.

Emotional First Look

They had the most heartfelt first look under the grand staircase at the venue. Ashley shared one with David, and she also did a first look with her dad. It was truly such a special moment. I am not sure there was a dry eye in the room. The love everyone had for each other was so evident, and I think the photos really convey that.

Bride and Groom Photos

I had so much fun with their bridal portraits. The venue felt endless with the amount of rooms, spaces, and little nooks we could use for photos. We ran all over the place — on the staircase, by a beautifully decorated window next to a cozy fireplace, and even in the women’s restroom. Yes, you heard me right. Even that space was gorgeous once Ashley brought me in there!

Ketubah Signing + Ceremony

Ashley and David had a beautiful Jewish ceremony, beginning with the Ketubah signing. If you are not familiar with it, it is similar to signing a marriage license, but with a small ceremony involved. It is always such a privilege to witness.

Their ceremony was so incredibly heartfelt. They did the iconic stepping on the glass, and my favorite moment was when David picked her up. They were both so excited, and I loved seeing the smiles on their faces the entire time.

Spotlight First Dance + Reception

I absolutely loved their reception. It was everything — grand yet intimate, emotional, and so much fun. Ashley and David made their entrance by walking down the staircase into the reception space, which felt so fitting for such a regal venue.

I also loved their first dance. They had a spotlight on them, which made it feel like they were the only two in the room. It was kind of crazy considering how big their wedding was. It felt so romantic.

They shared first dances with their family before getting into the more chaotic part of the night, which was the Hora. It truly never gets old. I always have so much fun watching everyone lift the couple up in the chairs and celebrate them so wholeheartedly. It really is the time of their lives.

Ashley and David’s wedding at Legacy Castle was such a memorable day to be a part of. Their excitement to finally celebrate with their friends and family was felt in every moment, and the energy throughout the entire day was amazing to witness. The meaningful traditions during their ceremony, the regal atmosphere of the venue, and the incredible celebration during the reception made their wedding feel truly special.
